Welcome to Pack 300

Cub Scout Pack 300 — join the adventure

Cub Scout Pack 300 is a proud unit of Scouting America, dedicated to helping young people develop character, citizenship, and a love of the outdoors.

We serve youth from Kindergarten through 5th grade (Lions through Arrow of Light), meeting regularly to earn adventures, work on service projects, and build friendships that last a lifetime.

Our Mission

To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

Scout Oath: On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Scout Law: A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

Pack Activities

Pack 300 gathers throughout the year for events that build skills, friendships, and community pride:

  • Pinewood Derby — Scouts (with family help) design, build, and race a regulation wood car
  • Blue and Gold Banquet — Cub Scouting’s annual birthday celebration, held each February
  • Camping — overnight camp-outs and day camp opportunities through the year
  • Service Projects — food drives, conservation work, and neighborhood community activities
  • Field Trips and Special Outings — museums, fire stations, sporting events, and more

Get Involved

Cub Scouting works best when families are active partners. Here are a few ways to plug in:

Volunteer roles open to interested parents and guardians:

  • Den Leader or Assistant Den Leader
  • Cubmaster or Assistant Cubmaster
  • Committee Chair, Advancement Chair, Secretary, or Treasurer

Training for all roles is available free at my.Scouting.org. Youth Protection training is required for all registered adult leaders and takes about 90 minutes online.

Track your Scout’s progress with the free Scouting app (available on Apple and Android) or at Scoutbook. Both tools let parents log completed adventure requirements and view upcoming activities.
